Week of tastes
The Week of Tastes (October 15 - 25) incorporates a number of interactive tasting experiences, based on highly successful programs in France, Switzerland, Belgium and the USA.The Week of Tastes allows children eight years and older to discover the world of flavours, understand how the five senses are used to appreciate food and enrich their food vocabulary. It helps develop curiosity and a positive attitude towards experiencing new foods.

In 2009, a number of Sydney restaurants offered special set-price Week of Tastes menus at family-friendly hours. These are designed to be an educational as well as an enjoyable experience for children and their families.
