Hold an Event

Would you like to be part of the new Sydney International Food Festival?

NEWS: Event registrations have been extended to Sunday, August 23, 2009.  Don't miss out!

The festival team (including festival director Joanna Savill and Vanessa Pilla, festival manager) is working hard to inspire a series of new food events, across Sydney and throughout NSW.

We are looking for quality food experiences, whether at a fine-dining or community level.

We want to highlight cultural diversity, particularly Sydney's Asian food cultures, as well as regional produce, food artisans, food ethics and food education.

Our brief is also to show off Sydney's spectacular locations.

And there's plenty of room for fun, frivolity and creativity, too.

The aim is to celebrate the quality and breadth of our marvellous food scene, and share our world of food with the world!

Many of the Good Food Month favourites will stay, including Hats Off Dinners, Let's Do Lunch and the Night Noodle Markets. But there is room for much more.

If you are interested in holding an event under the Festival umbrella, please contact us with your ideas.  The sky's the limit!

There is an approval process involved, after which you will be asked to fill in a detailed form and pay a modest registration fee (between $50 and $200 according to the event).

The full food festival program will be released in The Sydney Morning Herald on September 12 and online on September 14.
